sometimes, the answer we seek is just right before our eyes.
sometimes, God's prompting is soft but not inaudible, if only we bother to listen.

so much for not going to blog about my private life... i just did.
well...
on my last day of work... i was walking to the mrt station... savouring every step i took and everything i see... oh... and i treasured every minute in the crowded, super packed train... and then, when i stepped out of the raffles mrt station... right in front of me... there were flowers everywhere... pink, orange, blue and black... everywhere on the grass... it felt as if, God is sending me flowers on my last day of work... =) i just had to pause and took a snap shot of it... there was a sign saying 'pick me!' but alas, for the love of art, i would rather leave it be then to take it with me... =) that's the most beautiful thing that could ever happen to me... =)
i missed work... i missed my team... i missed waking up early in the morning... i missed spending my lazy afternoon running errands and chitchatting... but hey! they are treating me to dinner next friday... CANT WAIT CANT WAIT!!! =) oh...........

Tuesday, August 15

it was a lazy morning. i unhooked the rusty window latch and pushed open my window. i was greeted by a strangely familiar smell... of fried dough and porridge... the smell that immediately brought me back to those days in Hong Kong. smell of food, smell dirty drains, women screeching to one another along the sidewalk, men scurried here and there... children, hmmm, where were the children? the smell, ah, the smell... it is life within life.
i decided to have a cup of fresh milk with some lemon cookies. sat on my plastic stool, elbows resting on the cool marble table surface, i stared at the newspaper laid out in front of me. liquid bombs, liquid explosives, tight security in UK and US, a foil in an attempt to kill thousands. what a breakfast for my brains! when killing is like eating, dead people is like food, funeral is like cooking, blood is like spices. my breakfast is still the same.

i think he is still goregous... what do you think? =)

aHHHHHHH

i didnt forget about him...

-Every one of us knows how to read. But on one, save Poll, has ever taken the trouble to do it I, for one, have taken it for granted that it was a woman's duty to spend her youth in bearing children. I venerated my mother for bearing ten; still more my grandmother for bearing fifteen; it was, I confess, my own ambition to bear twenty. We have gone on all these ages supposing that men were equally industrious, and that their works were of equal merit. While we have borne the children, they, we supposed, have borne the books and the pictures. We have populated the world. They have civilized it. But now that we can read, what prevents us from judging the results? Before we bring anther child into the world we must swear that we will find out what the world is like-
somehow, i have found myself more and more attached to her writings...

What Child Is This

What child is this, who lays to rest,
On mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping?

This, this is christ the king
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing.
Haste, haste to bring him praise,
The babe, the son of mary.

So bring him incense, gold and myrrh;
Come, peasant king, to own him.
The king of kings salvation brings;
Let loving hearts enthrone him.

This, this is christ the king
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing.
Haste, haste to bring him praise,
The babe, the son of mary.

This, this is christ the king
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing.
Haste, oh haste to bring him praise,
The babe, the son of mary.
The babe, the son of mary.

i am so looking forward to christmas... =)
